It brings me great pleasure to announce the return of Quirk Radio to the masses. In the newest episode we discuss how we’ve been managing to survive the cataclysmic uproar that has been 2016. Follow us on SoundCloud and let us know what you think. https://m.soundcloud.com/quirkradio is the link…search it, click it and magic happens!
Okay you guys, I know it’s been a hot minute…but I’m back with the jump off. While I was on sabatical I perused several apps that I think would be benificial to anyone 20 and up who’s interested in fashion/current events. First one on the list: HEED Fashion…it used to be the app for NYFW and HEED decided to take things in a different route and give you coverage of fashion weeks, interviews with stylists and designers and oodles of other nifty little tidbits. Second: YUGENCREATIONS or YC is an app for the youth by the youth..made to keep youth and youthful visitors in popular locales abreast of what’s going on entertainment wise and fashion wise in their city. Last but certainly not least…Polyvore. Polyvore is an app for any fledgeling fashion blogger/stylist to get their feet wet putting together pieces from high-brow designers to fast fashion companies like Zara, H&M and the like. GET INTO THESE APPS, you’ll be damn glad you did.
Can we just talk about the looks that the people were blessed with last night!? Mainly by Beyoncé…nevertheless looks were given! I noticed quite a few themes (i.e. Lace, oversized pieces, monotone color schemes) and I’m here for all of them. Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Margiela, Francesco Scognamiglio were a few of the designers who had their pieces flaunted on the white carpet last night and I am thoroughly excited for future events if this is what I’m gonna be seeing.
